The Zonta Club of Alpena, as a member of Zonta International, strives to empower and enrich the lives of women in our community and worldwide through education, service, advocacy, and financial support.
Our Zontians consist of local professionals who seek to help advance the status of women. We host various events throughout the year to raise service funds to accomplish the same.

Zonta Club of Alpena's fiscal year kicks off in June. Our 2017 - 2018, board consists of:

Our meetings are held at the Ramada Inn (formerly the Sanctuary Inn of Alpena). These meetings are held at noon (12:00pm) on the first and third Thursday of the month.
The first Thursday, we address business matters. Our meeting on the third Thursday is our program meeting. The latter allows us to socialize and to bring in different speakers to help keep our members informed of ways better help women.
